The first trip of term was a huge success, with 11 novices getting a taste of Mendips Caving, in Burrington, Swildon's Hole and GB. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and we definitely have some potentially good new cavers this year. The next Freshers trip is this weekend, to South Wales, looking forward to it already!

Welcome back to Canterbury and hello to all the new people thinking of taking up caving this year. We'll be having a stall at Freshers Fayre on Friday 26th September, in the Eliot Quad, new members please come and find us, everyone come and help runt he stall!

Well, another year in caving is coming to its end. I'd like to thank everyone for all the hard work they've put into caving this year: the committee old and new, the leaders and everyone's who has come along on trips, to training and to socials and helped to make caving one of the best clubs on campus this year.
